"Isonite LS treatment" is an environmentally friendly salt bath soft nitriding/oxidation process. Similar to TF treatment, it generates a compound layer and a diffusion layer while simultaneously forming a composite oxide layer on the very surface just above the compound layer, enhancing various functions. Additionally, it achieves a thicker oxide layer compared to QPQ treatment, significantly improving sliding properties, seizure resistance, and corrosion resistance.
